Google organic traffic is up 313.94% Year Over Year

Because of the seasonal nature of our website traffic, it was tough to determine the exact cause of the problem.

The organic traffic to the website had been declining month after month with no end in site. After several attempts at trying to resolve the issue and hiring several SEO companies, website traffic from Google was still down 43.12% year-over-year (YOY).

After a complete analysis of the website, several technical problems were identified that were affecting their rankings in Google. Our team was able to identify hundreds of pages that were creating a large number of duplicate content pages on the site as well as several factors that have been known to cause Google Panda and Google Penguin penalties.

We kept in close communication with Dave letting him know what our findings were, what we planned to do to fix the issues, and keeping him apprised of the process at all times.

We also worked with their technical team to create solutions to the problems we discovered. In addition, our team updated and revised their meta title and meta description html tags. Finally, we improved their internal link structure and external backlink profile focusing on high authority, quality backlinks.

Within 30 days of making the initial corrections to the website, traffic from Google went from being down 43.12% YOY to being up 25.31% YOY. Overall organic traffic from major search engines was up 45.89% YOY during that time as well.

Five months after the first work was done to correct the problems on the website, Google organic traffic is up 313.94% YOY, also surpassing their all time historical highs from Google organic traffic by 77.88%.
